How to Install GoatEdit

Follow these simple steps to successfully activate GoatEdit as an extension inside Adobe Premiere Pro.

macOS Installation

    Download the `.pkg` File

    Click the "Download for Mac" button above to get the official installer pack `GoatEdit_Mac_v5.0.4.pkg`.

    Authorize in Privacy Settings

    Since this is an unsigned package without a certificate, macOS will block it initially. To open it:
    1. Double-click the file and click OK when the developer warning appears.
    2. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section, and click "Open Anyway".

    Launch Premiere Extension

    Complete the installer. Launch Premiere Pro, navigate to Window > Extensions > GoatEdit, and enjoy!

Windows Installation

    Download & Extract ZIP

    Click the "Download for Windows" button above to download the `GoatEdit_Win_Installer_v5.1.8.zip` and extract its contents to your computer.

    Save & Close Premiere Pro

    CRITICAL: Make sure to save your creative workspace projects and completely close Adobe Premiere Pro before starting the script.

    Run Installation Script

    Double-click the installation script inside the extracted folder. If a Windows SmartScreen blocks it, click "More Info" and select "Run Anyway".
    Once complete, restart Premiere Pro and go to Window > Extensions > GoatEdit!
